HOLLISTER, Mo. – University of Missouri Extension is offering current and future farmers a new educational program in Hollister.

The “Grow Your Farm” program includes eight class sessions beginning April 18th and continuing through October 24th.

Greene County Horticulture Specialist Patrick Byers says students will be presented the opportunity to connect with successful farm operators and business experts:

The course is being offered at the Hollister City Hall from 6 to 9 p.m. twice in April and then once a month through October.

Scholarships to cover the 200-dollar training fee are available to the first 10 registrant through a grant with the City of Hollister and Missouri Enterprise. The training fee does cover two people from within a farm or household.
