EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. – The Eureka Springs Fire Department invites the public to a carving competition Friday, benefitting its volunteer firefighters.
Fire Chief Randy Ates says the “Carving in the Ozarks” festival this year includes several artist hand-making sculptures in front of a crowd. He says the festival this year will include free ice cream and food stands from local vendors.
All of the proceeds from the Auction, late Saturday afternoon, will to the volunteer firefighters in Eureka Springs.
“Carving in the Ozarks” will start up on Friday afternoon in the parking lot of the Victorian Inn, on Highway 62 in Eureka Springs. The event this Friday and Saturday is free and open to the public.
