Man Found Unconscious in Taco Bell Drive-Thru Arrested

HOLLISTER, Mo. – A man found sitting unconscious in his vehicle at a Taco Bell drive-thru Tuesday afternoon, is arrested for possession of an illegal firearm.

Officers with the Hollister Police Department responded to the Hollister Taco Bell at approximately 4:16 p.m., in response to a caller reporting an unconscious man with a firearm sitting in the passenger’s seat next to him.

The driver was arrested and taken into custody for possession of a shotgun with a barrel measuring less than 18 inches. The vehicle, a gray 2005 Chevy Impala, was also secured as evidence and is currently in the possession of the Hollister Police Department.

The arrested man is suspected of multiple law violations, which will be disclosed as charges are filled. The investigation is ongoing.
