BRANSON, Mo. – Jesus Was Homeless celebrates the announcement of its on-going building expansion project with a special groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday morning.
Currently renting space out of shopping center along Highway 76 in Branson, Jesus Was Homeless is increasing their existing presence in the Branson community with the construction of a new building located at 310 Gretna Road.
Executive Director Bryan Stallings says this new location will include a number of exciting features:
This new location will increase the square footage available to Jesus Was Homeless by more than 13-thousand-500-feet for total of 17-thousand square feet of space. Stallings says he believes this new facility will have a significant and lasting impact on Branson and the surrounding communities:
Stallings says they are still taking donations to help bring this facility to fruition. He adds they recently received a 250-thousand-dollar matching grant, which will match any donations made to the non-profit organization.
Construction has already begun on the facility and Stallings says they are hopeful for a November 2016 completion date. More on Jesus Was Homeless can be found here.
