GALENA, Mo. – A woman from Powersite is sentenced in Stone County Circuit Court on Tuesday for trafficking methamphetamine, possessing heroin in pill form with intent to distribute, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Judge Jack Goodman handed down two concurrent eight-year sentences and one concurrent three-year sentence to 32-year-old Christina Zacker, as requested by Assistant Prosecutor Brynna Howell, who cited the underlying facts of the case, as well as the seriousness of the charged offenses.

Zacker and a co-defendant, Christopher Homan, checked into a resort in Shell Knob on July 2nd, 2014. Prosecutor Matt Selby says an identity fraud investigation led Stone County Sheriff’s Deputies to the room where Zacker and her co-defendant were staying.

Deputies located over 300 grams of meth, as well as a large amount of cash and over 15-hundred pills, later identified to be heroin.

The co-defendant, Homan, received a 15-year prison sentence in September of 2014.
