Area Legislators Mainly Unopposed for Re-election

by Sam Clanton

BRANSON, Mo. – In addition to August Primary ballots being set for local county elections, state races are now finalized for several Republican office holders seeking re-election.

For Missouri State Representative, District 155, Lyle Rowland of Cedarcreek is facing opposition from Mike Lind of Thornfield.

Meanwhile, incumbent District 29 State Senator David Sater of Cassville is running unopposed in the primary, as are District 138 State Rep. Don Phillips of Kimberling City, and District 156 State Rep. Jeff Justus of Branson.

None of these area legislators will face a Democratic challenger in the November general election.
