ARKANSAS – The North West Arkansas Council is expecting at least 3-thousand more jobs in the next three years.
The 2015 Regional Employer Survey released this week from the council shows employers in Northwest Arkansas are expected to hire exactly 3,161 workers and invest at least 336-million dollars in the general workforce. The council’s Chief Operating Manager says many of the 508 employers who participated in the survey responded with a positive outlook about their particular town’s commerce.
This is the fourth year the Arkansas Council has done the report. According to the latest U.S. Census Bureau statistics, Arkansas ranked 24th for fastest growing metropolitan area this year.
