ROGERS, Ark. – Two men, who were a part of the Branson entertainment scene, will undergo a mental evaluation before their next court appearance.

Records from the Circuit Court of Benton County show the legal representation for 24-year-old Daniel Fair and 25-year-old Nathaniel Fair believe both defendants may have suffered from a mental disease or defect resulting in the crime.

Authorities say in March of last year, a Fair Family member came forward to report the two brothers raped him and a younger sibling over the span of two years. Court documents say the alleged incident with the brothers happened six years ago, when they were all living together in Rogers.

Court records show the boy’s father 58-year-old Michael Fair, who is also currently facing rape and sexual assault charges of a family member, may be involved in this decision.

The Fair brothers were part of a show that ran at the Americana Theater in Branson until it closed down in July of 2015. The Fair brothers will both appear in court on May 12th.

Their father will appear in court on Thursday.
