YELLVILLE, Ark. – A man from Bull Shoals is being held in the Marion County Jail for several sodomy and child endangerment charges out of Missouri.

Marion County Sheriff Joan Vickers says 47-year-old James Liaromatis had a warrant issued for his arrest out of Christian County in Missouri on March 17th and was arrested by deputies at his home in Bull Shoals on Thursday. Court records show right now he is looking at two different cases, both filed in March.

Liaromatis’s first found of charges include child molestation in the second degree and giving porn to a minor. Additionally, he is facing an attempted sodomy charge, five counts of statutory sodomy, and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Vickers says he should be extradited to Christian County this week and will appear in court for his bond hearing on Tuesday.
