BRANSON, Mo. – After tabling a similar measure late last year pending further evaluation, Branson aldermen approve first reading of an ordinance amending the city’s fee schedule pertaining to building regulations, fire protection and planning & zoning.
Under the new schedule, fees will increase to recover a maximum of 90-percent of city costs, but no single fee will increase more than 25-percent annually.
Alderwoman Cris Bohinc…
Alderman Rick Davis also commented on the fee schedule, and the recovery of city expenses…
The ordinance shows building fees for work commencing before permit issuance increasing from 182-dollars to 228-dollars for commercial, and from 95-dollars to 119-dollars for residential.
Some fees actually decrease under the new schedule, including those for building plan reviews and some of the operational permits required for firework sales and displays.
