Traffic Signal Project Planned on F Highway

by Sam Clanton

BRANSON, Mo. – Work to install new traffic signals at the intersection of Taney County Route F and the east outer road of U-S 65 is scheduled to begin the week of March 28th.

MoDOT says much of the work will take place away from traffic, but drivers will see crews and equipment working close to the roadway. Nighttime lane closings are possible later on in the project, near the end of May or in early June.

MoDOT says the 331-thousand dollar project to install traffic signals became necessary as left-turning traffic volumes increased from the outer road to F Highway.

The prime contractor is Ewing Signal Construction of Nixa.
