Four Hurt in Three-Vehicle Crash on US 65 in Taney Co.

HOLLISTER, Mo. – Four people are injured in a traffic crash involving three vehicles on U-S 65 five miles south of Hollister.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 33-year-old Kortnie Evans of Omaha was southbound at 12:32 p.m. Monday, when her SUV struck a southbound pickup while passing it, then traveled into the northbound lane striking another vehicle, driven by 48-year-old Kimberly Schumacker of Mountain Home.

The collision caused Schumacker’s vehicle to run off the road and overturn, injuring her and two passengers, identified as 11-year-old Taylor Schumacker, and 12-year-old Rayne Tilley, also of Mountain Home. The driver and passengers were transported by Taney County Ambulance to Cox Medical Center Branson for treatment of moderate and minor injuries, respectively.

Evans’ vehicle also ran off the roadway. She was taken to Cox Branson for treatment of moderate injuries.

The driver of the southbound pickup is identified as 68-year-old Robert Boulware of Hollister, who was not injured.
