BRANSON, Mo – Collectors, buyers and consignors look to make their return to Branson for the 38th Annual Branson Spring Collector Car Auction in April.
While the auction will showcase dozens of classics for sale like a 1954 Chevrolet Corvette convertible and a rare 1955 Pontiac Star Chief convertible, this springs auction will also feature one of the most unusual consignments the Branson Auction has ever had, according to Owner Jim Cox:
Following the end of the TV series, the plane was passed from one owner to another, hopping from New Mexico to Texas to Florida. The plane even played its part in drug smuggling operation in the mid-1980’s, before being confiscated by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
More information on the car auction and the plane can be found here.
