HARRISON, Ark. – Two wanted fugitives from Georgia are apprehended at a home in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department reports, alongside the U-S Marshals Service, they located and apprehended Bethany Watts and Rusty Lee Mahan on March 17th and 18th, at a residence at Dunlap Street.
Watts was wanted for felony aggravated battery on a small child. Mahan is an unregistered sex offender and was convicted of enticing a child for indecent purposes in Georgia.
Both Watts and Mahan were taken into custody without incident and are currently being held at the Boone County Jail on an out of state hold.
Mahan has additionally been charged with failure to register as a sex offender in Arkansas and has been assessed a 10-thousand-dollar bond.
