BRANSON, Mo. – Branson City Clerk Lisa Westfall is honored with the 2016 Outstanding City Clerk Award by the Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association.
Westfall was presented the award on March 9th, at the association’s annual Spring Institute Banquet in Columbia, Missouri.
Branson Mayor Karen Best submitted a nomination application for Westfall that was reviewed alongside 11 other nominations for this year’s Outstanding City Clerk Award.
Throughout her 26 years of service to the City of Branson, Westfall has held several key positions and earned the designation of Master Municipal Clerk from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and the designation of Missouri Professional City Clerk, which is the highest level of educational achievement for a city clerk in Missouri.
The City of Branson is honoring Westfall and her extraordinary achievement with a reception in the lobby of the Branson City Hall on Tuesday March 22nd, at 6 p.m.
