POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. – The Armstrong McDonald School of Nursing at College of the Ozarks receives continuing accreditation for 10 years by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

At its October 2015 meeting the CCNE Board of Commissioners determined, after a site visit to the college in March, the nursing program at C of O met all four accreditation standards, and no compliance concerns were cited.

With that information the board acted and granted an extended accreditation to the baccalaureate degree program in nursing to December 31st, 2025.

C of O earned initial accreditation for its nursing program in 2010 for a period of five years. Since its inception the nursing program has achieved outstanding results, leading its graduates to be highly sought after by employing hospitals.
