NIXA, Mo. – A 2-point-7 million dollar project to widen the intersection of Highways 160 and 14 in Nixa is now underway.
The project will add dual left-turn lanes in all directions, and widen Highway 14 to four lanes, with a center-turn lane between North Estes Street and Fort Street.
Work has begun to relocate utility lines at all four corners of the intersection, resulting in nighttime lane closings.
The project is a partnership between MoDOT and the City of Nixa, and is scheduled for completion this fall.
