FORSYTH, Mo. – A man from High Ridge, Missouri is charged in connection with the robbery of an Indian Point police vehicle on Monday.

Taney County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 38-year-old Joshua Hutson after he allegedly stole the patrol cruiser during a traffic stop, then fled the scene and crashed the vehicle in an area off of Highway 265, behind The Vineyards in Branson.

Sheriff Jimmie Russell says officers located Hutson inside one of the condominiums there. He says deputies found Indian Point’s police dog inside the vehicle…

Hutson is facing three felony charges, including first-degree burglary, resisting arrest and tampering with a motor vehicle.

Court records show his bond is set at 50-thousand dollars.
