Two Injured in Crash on Hwy. 76 near Cassville

CASSVILLE, Mo. – Two people are injured in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 76 east of Cassville.

State troopers say an eastbound car driven by 63-year-old James Stephens of Cassville was forced off the roadway by an unknown semi truck at 6:10 p.m. on Friday. Stephens’ vehicle returned to the road, crossed the center line and struck a westbound Jeep driven by 36-year-old Sarah Taylor of Purdy, and a westbound pickup driven by 38-year-old Christopher Taylor of Purdy.

Stephens was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries.

Sarah Taylor was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of minor injuries.
