AR Law Enforcement Handing Out Laura’s Card

ARKANSAS – Over the last few years, there’s been a significant increase in domestic-violence cases in Arkansas, and police are trying to put an end to that by handing out “Laura’s Card,” which contains phone numbers and contact information for victims.

Laura’s Card is one of four domestic-violence laws approved in Arkansas last year. Officers give victims a flyer, but only when it’s safe to do so, and not when an abuser can see what’s happening.
