MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – A Baxter County Judge sends a local man to jail for ten years for a manslaughter charge, among several other things.

Terry Teeter from Mountain Home was sentenced to ten years in a state correctional facility by Judge John Putman, after pleading guilty to a laundry list of charges.

The manslaughter charge stems from the car wreck on December 5th of 2015 that claimed the life of 22-year-old Christopher Jordan.

Documents from the State Crime Lab show 32-year-old Terry Teeter tested positive for Benzodiazepines, cannabinoids, methamphetamines, and opiates.

Court records show Teeter also pleaded guilty to charges from a domestic disturbance that happened hours before the fatal accident and charges surrounding Teeter allegedly stealing a car from a local dealership in October.
