BRANSON, Mo. – The NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship honors Dixie Stampede General Manager Ron Jett during its annual Tip Off Ceremony at Dixie Stampede Tuesday night.

Former College of the Ozarks Coach and NAIA Tournament Director Al Waller presented Jett with a number of gifts, including a C of O fruitcake, to thank him for his commitment and dedication to the NAIA Tournament over the years.

When the tournament first came to the area, Waller says C of O began looking for sponsors and Jett was the first to accept the challenge:

Waller additionally announced the 2016 NAIA Tournament would be Jett’s last, as he is retiring from his position at Dixie at the end of the year.

Also part of the NAIA Opening Ceremonies, Bethel College alumnus and student athlete Rico Swanson and Grace College Men’s Basketball Coach Jim “Coach K” Kessler were both inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame.

You listen to the NAIA Tournament live on 106.3 KRZK or by listening online to live stream.
