HARRISON, Ark. – Folks will need to “spring forward” on Sunday, as March 13th at 2:00 a.m. marks the beginning of daylight saving time.

According to the American Journal of Cardiology, there is a connection between daylight saving time and a spike in heart attacks and hospital visits.

Vince Leist, the CEO of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, joined Rob McBee on our sister station 102.9 the Z to let people to know the hospital will host a healthy sleep event this month:

During this session he says folks will go home with knowledge about the difference of quantity verse quality sleep and how to sleep well.

The event will be held in the conference rooms C and D on the third floor of the patient tower at NARMC from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19th.
