BRANSON, Mo. – Branson’s Sight and Sound Theatre opens the curtain over the weekend for its all-new production for the 2016 season.
On Friday, March 4th, community members and local media were given a sneak peek of the debuting production of Moses and an opportunity to meet the cast and crew.
Veteran Sight and Sound actor, Fraser Armstrong plays the role of Moses. In an interview with KRZK Reporter Tim Church, Armstrong says he and the director struggled for many weeks to discover the direction God wanted this production to go. He adds God showed up in a powerful way and provided an artistic breakthrough for the production:
In the story of Moses, though Hebrew by birth, he is raised as Egyptian royalty. From being taken from his mother at the age of five to developing a lifelong stutter, from killing an Egyptian guard to coming face to face with God, Armstrong says he is bringing the struggles of Moses to the stage:
During his interview Armstrong communicates several times that this production is not the story of a perfect man with a long white beard on top of a mountain, but the story of a very powerful God and very broken man.
