EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. – The man suspected of killing a Eureka Springs resident is given a 300-thousand-dollar bond.
Major George Fry with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department says 44-year-old Christopher Butler from Eureka Springs appeared in the Carroll County Circuit Court before Judge Scott Jackson on Monday.
Butler is accused of shooting 31-year-old John Keck, also from Eureka Springs, to death on February 22nd. Investigators say they found Kick’s body inside of Butler’s car.
Butler is being held in the Carroll County Detention Center on charges of first degree murder and tampering with evidence. His next court date is slated for April 4th.
