HOLLISTER, Mo. – Hollister aldermen approve first reading of an ordinance adopting an operations budget of more than 5-point-6 million dollars for the fiscal year beginning April 1st.
Once again included in the budget are a number of special funding line items, including a contract with Christian Action Ministries for temporary emergency help for the needy.

Aldermen approved the contract for 25-hundred dollars.
The board also approves first reading of an ordinance balancing and closing out the current operations budget, as well as bills amending city code pertaining to dangerous buildings, flood repairs and substantially damaged buildings and structures.
