Report Released on Fatal Crash Near Holiday Island

HOLIDAY ISLAND, Ark. – The Arkansas State Police release information on a single vehicle crash that kills two people near Holiday Island on Thursday.

Authorities say 27-year-old Amanda Wade from Eureka Springs was a passenger in a Jaguar, heading south on Highway 23, just a mile shy of the state line at 1:16 p.m. The driver, 27-year-old Joshua Hilton from Washburn, Missouri, crossed the center line, hit a fence, some trees, and finally overturned, according to the online report.

Troopers say both Wade and Hilton were pronounced dead at the scene.
