FORSYTH, Mo. – The Taney County Clerk’s Office is in need of Democrat Judges for the upcoming March and April Election Days.
In order to be considered the person must be a registered voter and be able to speak, read, and write English. The person must also not appear on the current ballot or have a close relative appearing on the current ballot.
Taney County Clerk Donna Neeley says come election time they will need to have an equal amount of both Democrat and Republican Judges:
Neeley adds she needs anyone interested in the position to contact her office as soon as possible, as the election judge training for Taney County is being held on March 10th.
The work day begins at 5 a.m. and goes to 7 p.m. on Election Day. The judge is also paid 101-dollars-and-50-cents for the day.
