BRANSON, Mo. – The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB rolls out its 2016 Community Marking Plan during a special presentation Thursday morning.
Marketing Consultant Jerry Henry supplied community members and officials a number of statistics for 2015 and projections for 2016.
Henry shared Branson broke at least a dozen records in 2015, including visitation, sales tax receipts, business travel and more. He adds the decrease in gas prices had a major impact on Branson last year and it looks to do the same for 2016.
Branson CVB Chief Marketing Officer Leah Chandler followed Henry by sharing the Branson marketing plan for 2016:
Chandler adds all the new shows, attractions and events opening this year makes Branson very marketable to new visitors, as well as to those who make Branson their yearly vacation destination.
