CARROLL COUNTY, Ark. – Folks in Carroll County will need to head to the polls again for a runoff election on March 22nd.
According to the unofficial numbers on the secretary of state’s website, the republican race for Carroll County Sheriff is just too close to call.
Oak Grove Police Chief Jason Hunt and Harrison Police Officer Jack Gentry Jr came within just a few hundred votes of each-other. The record shows Hunt had 1,152 votes, while Gentry tallied up 1,317 votes.
