CARROLL COUNTY, Ark. – The office of Arkansas’ Secretary of State, Mark Martin, is blaming a software glitch for the delay some election results.
In a brief conversation, Martin’s office Tells Hometown daily news that Carroll County election officials worked through the night and they continue to work this morning, so they can release the information.
Carroll was one of five counties that experienced issues in last night’s election.
Local candidates left in limbo include the men running for the Carroll County Sheriff’s republican nomination, the district judge’s race, and the republican nomination for the 98th district.
