Evans Wins Republican Ticket in Marion Co. Sheriff’s Race

MARION COUNTY – The highly contested Republican primary election for the position of Marion County Sheriff goes to Clinton Evans.

Evans says his 24 years in law enforcement is what led him to run for sheriff:

 

 

Evans received 66 percent of the vote against his running mates for the Republican position.

John Weaver had 27 percent of the vote and Henry Kimble had eight percent.
