FORSYTH, Mo. – A motion to reduce bond is denied for a man from Branson accused of having sexual relations with two underage female students of Harrison High School.

Twenty-eight-year-old Kyle Smith, a former assistant band director at the school, remains jailed in Forsyth on 100-thousand dollars bond. He is scheduled to appear in court again for a preliminary hearing on March 28th.

Smith is charged with four counts of statutory rape and four counts of statutory sodomy. His case was turned over to the Taney County Sheriff’s Office after initial investigation by the Arkansas Crimes Against Children Unit and Harrison Police Department.
