Engineer Informs Commission of Bridge Projects

by Sam Clanton

FORSYTH, Mo. – MoDOT officials are preparing for road closures and detours during replacement of three deteriorating bridges on Highway 76 east of Bradleyville.

Area Engineer Beth Schaller visited with Taney County Commissioners about an upcoming public meeting at Bradleyville School. She says transportation officials would like to hear from local residents before developing a plan to handle traffic…

The highway bridges over Beaver Creek, Caney Creek and Kentucky Creek will be replaced sometime next year at a cost of nearly 5-million dollars.

Schaller says the come-and-go style public meeting is set for Thursday, March 3rd from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bradleyville School.
