MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The man involved in the fatal accident on Highway 5 in December is now facing a manslaughter charge.
Documents from the State Crime Lab show 32-year-old Terry Teeter from Mountain Home did test positive for Benzodiazepines, cannabinoids, methamphetamines, and opiates.
According to the prosecuting attorney’s office, the manslaughter charge could not be filed until those results were in.
Court records show Teeter is still facing other charges stemming from this incident, charges from a domestic disturbance that happened hours before the fatal accident, and charges surrounding Teeter allegedly stealing a car from a local dealership in October.
Jail logs show Teeter is in the Baxter County Detention Center without bond, until he appears in court for the manslaughter charge.
