HARRISON, Ark. – Harrison’s 3rd annual Chili Con CASA is this weekend.
Saturday evening the public is invited to taste some of Harrison’s best chili, while also enjoying live music and supporting an important local program for kids.
All of the proceeds will go to Boone County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates, also known as CASA, according to the Harrison Chamber of Commerce. CASA is a national organization that helps to support neglected or abused kids.
Officials with the Chamber say there will also be activities for kids under 12 and a raffle to win an I-pad mini.
Tickets to the Chili Cook off are 5 dollars. The event will be at the Brandon Burlsworth Youth Center this Saturday, February 27 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
