City Upgrading Meter System; Board Approves Bills

HOLLISTER, Mo. – The City of Hollister is entering into a contract with HD Supply Waterworks for operation and maintenance of radio-read water meters.

Public Works Director Terry Brashear says the contract is for 29-thousand 500-dollars, and includes 100 new meters and software, plus employee training…



Also during their regular meeting Thursday night, aldermen approved a resolution naming commission members to the Hollister Parkway Redevelopment Project, and approved first reading of two bills increasing monthly compensation for the mayor and individual board members.

Beginning April 1st, aldermen will receive 375-dollars a month, while the mayor will receive 800-dollars.
