Carroll County Traffic Stop Ends with Major Meth Arrest

BERRYVILLE, Ark. – A Carroll County man is in custody for having over 30 grams of meth with him following a traffic stop.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Greg Sohn was stopped by a deputy for some traffic violations on Thursday night on County Road 422.

Authorities say the deputy subsequently found Sohn had no driver’s license, but did have two baggies of methamphetamine inside the vehicle, weighing in at 31 grams.

Jail logs indicate he is currently being held in the Carroll County Detention Center on charges for possession of a controlled substance, intent to deliver it, speeding, fictitious registration and no driver’s license.

His bond has been set at 250-thousand dollars.
