Today Marks One Year Since Branson Girl’s Murder

BRANSON, Mo. – The one year anniversary of the day a six-year-old girl was murdered in a Branson motel room was over the weekend.
On February 21st of 2015, Police say they found Jasmine Miller’s body at the Windsor Inn on 76 Country Boulevard.

Investigators believe Miller was strangled to death by 56-year-old John Roberts. Taney County Prosecutor Jeff Merrell says Roberts is currently being held in a maximum security unit at Fulton State Hospital, after he was deemed mentally not competent for trail.

Merrell says another psychiatric evaluation for Roberts will be filed by March 15th.
