Two Barry County Residents Injured in Purdy Crash

PURDY, Mo. – Two Barry County residents suffer moderate injuries in a two vehicle crash Friday afternoon, in Purdy.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 84-year-old Ruby Pozniak of Purdy failed to yield, entered into the intersection of North Farm Road 2090 and Highway 37 and struck a westbound vehicle driven by 45-year-old Jerry Clark of Cassville.

According to the online crash report Pozniak was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Pozniak and Clark were both transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield to be treated for their respective injuries.
