MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – Methamphetamine is behind two Mountain Home men being arrested this week.

According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, 39-year-old Jacob Kratochvil was taken into custody by the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections for an outstanding warrant on Thursday. The Corrections officers say, when searched, they found meth and several plastic baggies with meth residue in Kratochvil’s pockets.

He is being held on a 5-thousand dollar bond.

Montgomery says 30-year-old Nicholas Koskinen was also arrested this week, after investigators worked with an cooperating individual, who purchased different amounts of meth from Koskinen on three separate and controlled occasions in January.

He is being held on a 25-thousand dollar bond.

Officials say court dates are scheduled for both Kratochvil and Koskinen on February 25th.
