Two Taney Co. Residents Hurt in Motorcycle Crash

WALNUT SHADE, Mo. – Two Taney County residents receive serious injuries in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night, in Walnut Shade.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 49-year-old Mark Wells, of Kissee Mills, was traveling westbound on Highway 160 at 9:55 p.m., when he lost control of the motorcycle he was operating, ran off of the roadway and overturned.

Wells and a passenger, 50-year-old Cindy Jones Taylor of Reeds Spring, were ejected from the motorcycle and both transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield to be treated for their respective injuries.
