CARROLL COUNTY – People in Carroll County are being urged by federal officials to register for disaster assistance with FEMA.
According to Scott Bass with the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management, Carroll is one of the 11 counties hit hardest by straight-line winds and flooding last month. He says the first step to registering is to call 1-800-621-FEMA. Operators will be available from seven in the morning to ten at night, every day of the week.
Bass says there are federal disaster programs are for both individuals and business owners who need help recovering from the disaster.
