Yellville Man Charged with Bringing Drugs to Screening

YELLVILLE, Ark. – A man from Yellville is back in jail, after allegedly bringing meth and hydrocodone to his drug test at the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections.

According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office 36-year-old Joseph Kensinger was submitting to a drug screening last Tuesday and officers discovered he was attempting to use someone else’s sample as his own.  Authorities say upon his arrest, they additionally found 13 pills of prescription medications and 1.3 grams of methamphetamine.

He has been formally charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, furnishing prohibited articles, and a parole violation.

Kensinger is currently in the Baxter County Detention Center with a 25-thousand dollar bond.
