ARKANSAS – Early voting in Arkansas kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16th.
The Preferential Primary election is being held this year about two months earlier than it has been in the past due to a national trend. Early voters will be looking at several contested races for the democratic or republican nomination.
In Boone County, Election Coordinator Becky Benton says the Boone County Election Center at 414 Central Avenue in Harrison will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through the week and on the weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In Carroll County, You can early vote at the Eastern District Courthouse in Berryville or the Western District Courthouse in Eureka Springs during those same hours, according to the local County Clerk, Jamie Correia.
Early voting will end Monday, February 29 at 5 pm.
