by Sam Clanton

BRANSON, Mo. – Management of the Branson Convention Center is optimistic for another record-setting year in 2016.

General Manager Marc Mulherin says 2015 revenues exceeded budget by more than 372-thousand dollars, and total expenses were below budget by more than 608-thousand dollars, making 2015 the best year for business since the convention center first opened ten years ago.

Mulherin says several big events are returning this year…

Mulherin says the convention center continues to focus on recycling and reducing its energy consumption. Last year the center reduced its overall electric usage by more than 12-percent, resulting in combined savings of over 66-thousand dollars.
