REEDS SPRING, Mo. – The Missouri Public Service Commission announces an April 14th, public hearing at the Reeds Spring City Hall in regards to an electric rate case filed by The Empire Electric Company.
The public information/question and answer session starts at 11 a.m. with the commission then receiving testimony from the public at 12 p.m.
On October 16th, 2015 The Empire Electric Company filed an electric rate case with the PSC to seek an increase of annual electric revenues by approximately 33-point-four-million-dollars.
According to Empire, a residential customer using one-thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity would see a monthly increase of approximately 12-dollars-and 54-cents under this rate request.
