HOLLISTER, Mo. – The Ozarks Technical Community College Board of Trustees approves a two-million-dollar plan to build out the remaining unfinished space at the OTC Table Rock Campus building in Hollister.
This project, funded by the Branson tax levy and private gifts, will nearly double the campus’ student capacity, according to a release from the college.
OTC Table Rock Campus President Cliff Davis says with this additional space, OTC will be able to offer even more of what they are already offering and much more:
The fourth floor of the building, which is currently being used as a meeting space, will be transformed into additional classrooms, a community room and tutoring center. Half of the third floor will become a lab for the nursing program, and the second floor will receive a modern science lab. The first floor campus library will also receive a new entrance.
Davis says with this project in motion the campus can now focus on creating an offsite facility where they can offer more technical programs. OTC officials hope to have the build out completed by January 2017.
