Mountain Home Firefighters Contain Brush Blaze

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Mountain Home Fire Department responds to a brush fire, quickly approaching a residential area on Tuesday.

Fire inspector Gary Pyszka says the mountain home office was called to a rural area in the 7-hundred block of Kingwood Blvd in Mountain Home a little after ten at night for a field fire…

 

 

He says a brush pile became involved in the field fire and that’s when they called for backup from the Clarkridge Fire Departments. 12 Firefighters worked for 4 hours to extinguish the blaze…

 

 

 

Preliminary reports are that ashes from an outdoor, wood burning stove is what started the fire.

No one was injured.
