VITA Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

FORSYTH, Mo. – The Taney County University of Missouri Extension announces its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites are now open to the public and they are taking appointments.

Taney County University of Missouri Extension Program Director Nellie Lamers joined Taney County Commissioners during a recent meeting to discuss the kickoff of this year’s VITA program:


Some of the items you need to bring with you to receive assistance include: Social Security Cards for you, your spouse, and each dependent child, W-2 Forms for every job you or your spouse worked in 2015, and a personal check, for checking account and routing number information, if you want your refund directly deposited.
